Who we are

What is a worldview?

A worldview is the lens in which people view the world around them. It becomes the framework of an individual’s understanding of reality and right and wrong. In a time of rampant humanism, these lenes are often deemed as limitless as the people who own them. However, there are only two worldviews – God’s and man’s.

What is a Biblical-Worldview?

A Biblical-worldview is built on God’s word as infallible, authoritative, inerrant, and completely sufficient. As such, it is an absolute in forming our thinking and understanding of His created world. It fashions our perceptions of morality, ethics, love, relationships, and reason for being. It is not just about knowing what the Bible says, but having a spiritual and intellectual connection through the power of the Holy Spirit – living God’s word.

We cannot continue to send our children to Caesar for their education and be surprised when they come home as Romans.

What is a Christian educator?

A common saying is, “A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart.” What is your teacher opening in your student’s mind? What is touching your student’s heart? Christian educators are called by God into the field of education to demonstrate their faith in and love for Jesus Christ as they encourage their students to see Jesus Christ at the center of all facets of academic learning.  Understanding God's primary focus for education is the family unit, they add to family values by coming alongside parents to help students use their God-given talents as they mature in their faith and walk with the Lord.

“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not turn from it.” -Proverbs 22:6

Why is a Christian Education important?

According to the Barna Group, the nation's leading research group whose focus is on the relationship between faith and culture, it was discovered less than 1 percent of the young adult population in the United States has a biblical worldview. Further data found less than one-half of a percent of Christians between the ages of 18 and 23 have a biblical worldview. A 2019 study shows an overall church dropout has risen to 64%. Two studies conducted by both the Barna Group and USA Today show that almost 75% of our young Christian population leaves the church before they ever enter college. Yet 73% of US parents are concerned about their Children’s spiritual development. Where is the disconnect? Statistics show our children spend an average of 30 hours a week in public schools where the ideologies and truths they are taught are in sharp opposition to biblical truths laid out by God. From the 30-hour week of learning at school, studies indicate another 30-hour average spent watching TV, playing video games, and scrolling through social media each week. When weighed on a scale, 60 hours a week is given over to the influence and governance of the world, against an hour or two on Sunday morning. It then becomes clear why our children do not have a Biblical worldview nor have the intelligence to combat worldly ideology that challenges their faith.
